Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Inspired by her observations of shadows on the ground and shadows on the ground, the artist spent months experimenting with a method to convey objects in two dimensions onto canvas. When the objects are alive or a thing that can be eaten, like humans and fruits and other objects, they are transformed into paintings of themselves. Alexa Meade's work is ephemeral, but the photo is what remains. Photographs and painting are together to produce a flat two-dimensional surface that is trompe-l'oeil. At certain locations, the three-dimensional space can be visible, like around the eye or on the hair. Meade often integrates her model in the three-dimensional surroundings around it, which allows for her to work within their own world. The distinctions between performance photography, and installation is thus broken.
